Our story
"I want kids to play more sports. If we give them the tools to organize games themselves, they'll use them — and stay active, connected, and competitive long-term."
AJN sports was founded by a parent of youth athletes who lived through the frustration firsthand. Coordinating private training sessions meant a flood of texts, missed messages, Venmo confusion, and scheduling that fell apart at the last minute. Every other parent on the sideline had the same story.
The existing platforms on the market weren't the answer either. Most charge coaches 15–30% of every session — a fee structure that price-gouges the very professionals who make youth sports development possible. Coaches were being forced to raise their rates or absorb the loss, and families felt the impact.
So we built something better. AJN sports charges coaches a simple flat fee and takes zero percent of their earnings. Coaches keep 100% of what they make. Parents get a clean, modern experience to find coaches, book sessions, and stay informed. Everyone wins.
But we didn't stop at private training. We saw another problem: kids weren't organizing pickup games the way they used to. The spontaneous, neighborhood game that built generations of athletes was disappearing. With the right modern tools — a quick way to post a game, invite friends, and fill a roster — we can bring that culture back. When it's easy to play, kids play more. And that's the whole point.
And because the hardest part of youth sports is running a team, we built that too — schedules and RSVPs that run themselves, a Game Day board for the sideline, live scores on the lock screen in the iPhone app and a recap at the whistle. One app for a kid's whole sports life.
